Bespoke Software Built around your business

Customer portals, internal tools and business systems for UK companies that have outgrown spreadsheets and off-the-shelf software.

When off-the-shelf stops fitting.

Every growing business reaches the point where spreadsheets, email chains and disconnected apps start to cost more than they save. Work gets re-keyed, mistakes creep in and nobody has a single view of what is going on.

We design and build software around the way your business actually works: customer and supplier portals, quoting and ordering tools, operational dashboards and admin systems that replace the workarounds. Our background in complex ecommerce means we are comfortable with permissions, business rules, data imports and integrations from day one.

What we build.

Web-based software that your team and customers can use from anywhere.

  • Business management systems

Jobs, quotes, bookings, stock or compliance managed in one place instead of five.

  • Customer and supplier portals

Secure logins where people can see orders, documents, requests and progress.

  • Internal tools

Admin screens, approval flows and dashboards that remove repetitive manual work.

  • Data imports and exports

Reliable tools for moving data between systems in the formats each one expects.

  • APIs and integrations

Connections to payment, accounting, CRM, logistics and other platforms you rely on.

  • Maintenance and development

Ongoing improvements, updates and support once your system is live.

Define the workflow before the screens.

We map the process end to end: who does what, what information is entered, which decisions are made and where things currently go wrong. That produces a far better brief than a list of features.

For bigger projects we prototype key journeys so people can try them before we commit to building. The first release focuses on a complete, useful workflow, with later additions planned rather than bolted on.

  • Process mapping with the people who do the work
  • Clickable prototypes for important journeys
  • A first release that is genuinely useful

Engineered to be dependable.

Business software needs sound validation, sensible permissions, an audit trail and a clear way to recover when something fails. We build those in from the start, along with automated tests for the rules that matter most.

You own the code and receive documentation and access. If you ever want to bring development in-house or work with someone else, you can.

  • Role-based permissions and audit trails
  • Automated tests for critical business rules
  • Your code, documented and handed over

public function handle(OrderRequest $request): Order{    $this->rules->validate($request);       // business rules first    return $this->db->transaction(function () use ($request) {        $order = Order::fromRequest($request);        $this->audit->record('order.created', $order);        $this->events->dispatch(new OrderPlaced($order));        return $order;    });}

How we work together.

A clear, collaborative process with no surprises. You always know what is happening, what we need from you and what comes next.

  1. Step 1

    Discover

We map the workflow, the people involved, the data and the systems it touches, then agree what success looks like.

  2. Step 2

    Specify

A clear scope, data model and plan. Where it helps, a clickable prototype so you can test the idea before it is built.

  3. Step 3

    Build in stages

Working software early and often, reviewed with you at each stage and tested against real examples.

  4. Step 4

    Launch & support

Careful deployment, documentation and handover, with ongoing support and development if you want it.

Questions, answered.

Anything else you would like to know? Ask us directly and we will give you a straight answer.

Should we build bespoke software or buy an existing product?

If an existing product fits your process well, buying is usually cheaper. Bespoke makes sense when your process is a competitive advantage, when products force costly workarounds, or when you need to connect several systems. We will give you an honest view.

Can you take over software built by another developer?

Yes. We review the code, hosting and documentation first, then recommend whether to maintain, improve or gradually replace it. See legacy modernisation.

How do you estimate the cost of a bespoke system?

We scope the first release in detail after discovery and give a fixed or capped price for it. Later phases are estimated as they are defined, so you are never committed to a vague, open-ended budget.

What technology do you use?

We use proven, widely supported web technologies, chosen for the project and for how easy the system will be to maintain long term. We avoid anything obscure that would tie you to us.

Let’s build something exceptional.

Tell us about the website, platform or problem you have in mind. We’ll reply within one working day with honest advice on the best next step.
