Privacy. How your enquiry is handled.
A plain-English explanation of what happens to the details you send us.
This page explains how Glenndilen Digital handles information sent through this website. It covers the enquiry form, which is the only place the website collects personal details.
Who we are
Glenndilen Digital is a website design and engineering studio based in Worthing, West Sussex, and a division of the Make Money Media Group (company no. 14804077). For anything about your information, email hello@glenndilen.co.uk.
What the enquiry form collects
Your name, email address and message, plus anything optional you choose to add: your business or current website, the service you are interested in and a budget range. The form also records which page you sent it from. We do not ask for a telephone number.
Why we use it
To read and reply to your enquiry, and to keep a record of the conversation if it becomes a project. This is in our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or a step you have asked us to take before entering into a contract. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or share your details for marketing.
What happens when you press Send
- Your enquiry is checked and saved to private storage on our UK web server, outside the public website.
- A notification containing your enquiry is then sent to Glenn through Telegram, a messaging service, so it can be answered promptly. Telegram processes that message on its own servers.
- A copy may also be sent to our business email inbox.
- If a notification cannot be sent straight away, the saved enquiry is retried automatically. Your enquiry is not lost if a notification service is temporarily unavailable.
How long we keep it
Saved enquiries are deleted from the website server automatically after 24 months. If an enquiry becomes a project, the details needed for that work are kept with the client’s project records instead. Copies in Telegram and email are kept for as long as the conversation is useful and are reviewed periodically.
Spam protection and security
The form uses a hidden field and a time check to block automated spam, and limits repeated submissions. Server logs record technical details such as IP addresses for security and are kept for a short period by our hosting environment.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you pause the page animations, your choice is remembered in your own browser storage; it is not sent to us.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@glenndilen.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
